Solana Mobile Leaderboard?

It’s officially official. Everyone and their moms are launching a points system.

The Solana Mobile Saga sold out 20K devices in their first run and became known as the most rewarding phone ever. Now the Saga 2 has been announced at a price point of $450. Included in the announcement is a points system and leaderboard. As of now, we can only speculate what these points will translate to in the future. Will these launch sponsors reward leaderboard standings?

As of today, January 24th, Saga 2 has already amassed over 40,000 preorders.

Drift: Finally a points program with an end date

Drift Points are live! Here’s what you need to know:

• Drift Points to be dropped weekly

• Trading activity earns you the most points

• The points program will last 3 months maximum (finally a points program with an end date. THANK YOU DRIFT)

• Multiple snapshots have been taken to reward OG users

• First points drop on Feb 2nd

BIG News from Magic Eden

Magic Eden surprised us all with some major news, in the form of Retroactive Rewards and the newly announced Non-Fungible DAO. Let us break it down:

Non-Fungible DAO:

• Magic Eden will open-source its smart contracts and decentralize governance through a new entity called Non-Fungible DAO.

• The DAO will be governed by $NFT holders (wow what a ticker!).

• Speculation: People are speculating that Magic Eden diamonds and Magic Ticket NFTs will translate to an $NFT airdrop.

• “Most of the $NFT token supply will be allocated to the $NFT community, which can be earned by community members who use the protocols owned by the Non-Fungible DAO.”

• This announcement has a lot of implications, and we recommend everyone read the entire X thread!

Magic Eden Rewards:

• Although Magic Eden is a multi-chain platform, Solana will be rewarded first

• Retroactive Diamond Drop on Feb 2nd, rewarding activity dating back to 2021
